Rwanda update

Great news from Rwanda. I’ve been speaking with Aminadab from Teens for Christ, who is interested in using The Missing Peace booklet. They’re doing amazing work reaching young people for Christ. Please also pray for Elyse, a youth pastor with Teens for Christ. They’re running discipleship courses that last up to nine months, along with staff training to help present the Gospel clearly. I’ll keep you updated as things progress. In the next report, we’ll focus on Serbia and plans for this coming summer. As you pray for us, know that we and those we’re connected with are praying for you too. God bless, Brother Tony.

News from Serbia

Stacks Image 7172
The team in Serbia are pleased that I am feeling up to keeping in touch with the outreach going on there. This week, they have been at the book fare in Novi Sad. Many more people attended than the previous year, last year there were disturbances causing unrest. There have been many people stopping by the book stand and the team were able to share the gospel with them, even the young people shared their faith with those stopping for a chat, so much to praise Lord for. Of course, where there are blessings there is always opposition, mainly from the Orthodox church and some other sects, but God over ruled in these situations. People are hungry to hear the truth, continue to pray that many will surrender their lives to Him. The Missing Peace booklet is still being well received. What a privilege we have in sharing His Word with others and also a privilege knowing that you are behind us in prayer. Where ever your service for the Lord leads you, we pray God's Blessing upon you. Brother Tony.

Thank you for your continual prayer support for me. I am starting to feel like doing a few things and catching up on paperwork. Doctors and support staff are very pleased with my progress and I'm starting to have chats with workers around the world.

Last year we supported a mission in Eastern Kenya with The Missing Peace booklet, Pastor Edward is doing a great job there and is now entering into the schools. He has now been able to travel into a desert area to a tribe called the POKOT people, God is already drawing these people to Himself. Please continue to uphold Pastor Edward and the workers in PRAYER. Next report will be on Serbia where so much is happening and I'm there in Prayer and Spirit. Thank you, God Bless

Health Update

Stacks Image 7110
Firstly, I want to thank you all for your prayers over the past few weeks. On 15th February I had a stroke and thanks to fast action by my son and the amublance personal, I was taken to hospital and received treatment throughout the night. The doctors were amazed at the progress I made and I shared with them, that people were praying for me. There is still a long way to go with healing of the brain damage, but I know that I am in His care. For the time being it is doing a things around the house and then rest. He holds the future in His Hands, my heart is still on fire for the Lord and the Balkans.

Latest news: - Yesterday I received copies of the Missing Peace in Chinese and today, they will be going out on the ships here at the Royal Portbury and Avonmouth Docks in Bristol. I will share more news next week, thank you all again for your prayers, God Bless, Brother Tony.

Breaking News...

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour. Today, I share some very good news and also some sad news. Let me give you the sad news first, due to a slight health issue I have had to delay my return to Serbia due on 15th of this month. It's very disappointing as plans were made to visit Montenegro and also attend the Book Fare in Beograd where we are having a stand. I will give a update on this in early November. Previous Book Fares have been a great blessing as many people reached out for the Word of God.

I am sharing a paragraph of an email received this week from Ukraine.

Dear brother Tony, I've have just taken a look at The Missing Peace booklet on the web site, it's beautiful, and seeing it in Ukrainian fills me with gratitude. What an incredible tool for sharing the Gospel! To hear that hundreds have come to know the Lord through it is pure encouragement. We will certainly make use of it here: it's exactly what so many weary hearts need right now. God is using your ministry in mighty ways, brother - Praise Him -- Igor

Igor, gave a report at a conference I attended a short while back on the way God is working in the Ukraine, but some of the info is sensitive. Please continue to Pray for the Christians there as they seek to help with practical things and serve Our Lord at the same time.

Thanksgiving

Stacks Image 6905
Dear loved ones around the world, as we approach the time of the year when we give thanks to God for the provision of food to sustain us, I would also like to show how thankful Global Passion and The Missing Peace Trust are, for the way God has supplied our needs in reaching out to so many people. Many reports, phone calls and messages have come in from many, many people, young and old are coming to know the Lord has their Saviour and Christian lives are being changed.

The Missing Peace booklet is now reaching many, many places around the world and is now entering the far East, so as we give thanks for our harvest, let us remember to give God the Praise and Glory in answering our PRAYERS. Only eternity will show the full results of our and your labours in prayer and support. May God Bless you all - Brother Tony

10 Bibles a day.

Stacks Image 6891
At the end of August, I spent the weekend in Haverfordwest in Wales, taking some meetings but concentrating more on one to ones, encouraging people who need a little prayer and help in their spiritual walk. One of the highlights of my visit was talking to John, who visits Manchester to help out with outreach. There, they set up a stand on the streets offering free Bibles and just wait for people to come to the stand. On average, ten Bibles a day are taken and the results are amazing. Some people will stop and talk, others will just say thank you for the Bible. Please pray for this outreach, this is not a part of my Global Passions Ministry but it touched my heart and we should be praying for all outreach. Time was spent in the evening in the hospital with a friend serving tea and coffee to Doctors, Nurses and in-patients. A report will follow shortly on Reuben, who went to Kenya and has just returned, I hope to get details from him soon. Blessings to you all - Tony.

Never Too Old!

Stacks Image 6874
For the past two weeks I have been in Northern Ireland with my daughter and family. It's always a great joy to meet up with Reuben and Carol while I’m there. For many years they have been involved in helping missions and churches with building and repair work here in Northern and Southern Ireland. This Friday, along a few others, Reuben is making his first overseas mission to Kenya to refurbish a mission school toilet block in Kisumu. He is 73 years old and still very fit, please pray for him and for his wife as she remains at home.  I will give an update when he returns. Isn't it a wonder to be able to serve the Lord no matter what our age is.

Gerhard and Manuela Neu

Stacks Image 6860
Let me introduce you to Gerhard and Manuela Neu. It was just over twelve months ago on a mission to Austria that I had my accident, I didn't even get out of the airport when I fell on a very slippery floor. I had only met Gerhard and Manuela twice before, they didn't really know me, but without any question they were ready to take me into their home after I was discharged from the hospital and before I was allowed to fly home. Gerhard is a leader of a church and Manuela works for the Samaritan Purse, it's a very busy time for her travelling and sharing about the Christmas Shoe Box programme. Pray for them as they serve God and give thanks to God for the love they showed me, a real modern day good Samaritan, a wonderful Christian couple. Please also continue to pray for the camp work in the Balkans and worldwide, lives are being changed and young Christians challenged. God Bless  - Tony
